With reference to your advertisement in "The Statesman of today, I have the Honour to offer myself for the position of the Office Assistant for your Fire Department.

I passed the B. A. Examination from the Calcutta University in 2021. I am also a law graduate of the same University.

I am at present working at the Vauxhal Insurance Company Ltd. , Kolkata, as a Junior clerk. I have been working here since 1st January, 2022. I am well conversant with the rules and regulations of fire insurance.

I am now twenty eight years old, and can undertake any hard work.

I am confident of getting the favour of your selection.
